Based in NYC's artistic hub known as the East Village, EVIL CITY FILM FEST is dedicated to being the home of filmmaking talent from around the world. Named for its locale (E. Village) as well as its irreverent attitude, EVIL CITY FILM FEST is excited to present the third installment of the festival that caters as much to the counterculture as it does to any film lover.

The 3rd Annual EVIL CITY FILM FEST will present a killer schedule of downtown events featuring a program of the latest in truly independent films (complete with concrete carpets), insightful filmmaker panels, and alcohol-saturated after-parties. On Thursday, October 4, 2007, ECFF kicks off with an opening night film at Anthology Film Archives and will wrap up on Monday, October 8, 2007 at The Blender Theater for a Rock & Roll Awards show attended by filmmakers, local luminaries and industry professionals for a debauchery-filled evening. "Skullie" Awards & prizes will be presented to the winners of each category, including Feature, Short, Animation, Documentary, Experimental, Student, Music Video, and Horror.
